Meet Coach Linda

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

~ African Proverb

One Braver Life is my thank you and love letter to all the brave women who have shared their experience, strength, and hope with me in my journey and all the women working hard every day to consciously create their brave future. Bravery isn’t something we have or don’t have. Bravery can be a learned skill and strengthened like a muscle. It's not the absence of fear but something we create for ourselves one brave action at a time, one brave conversation at a time, one brave choice at a time, one day at a time. Don’t wait until you feel brave enough to start your growth journey. Let’s go together now and bravery will come. And let’s go far to hope and healing.

As a certified partner coach (CPC) through the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Betrayal Trauma Specialists(APSATS), Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and graduate of the Institute for Excellence in Professional Coaching (iPEC), I offer a high level of credentialed, ethical coaching to my clients. And I’m always continuing to learn. Presently I’m completing supervision to be certified as a Full Disclosure Coach Guide (FDCG) using the Caudill/Drake Restoring Truth Model (RTM). Through APSATS, I completed training in the Early Couple Recovery Empathy Model (ERCEM), designed to be a gold standard of care and support for couples seeking to restore their relationship after sex addiction and partner betrayal.

As a Gottman Institute 7 Principles of Making Marriage Work Leader and Workshop Facilitator, I am passionate about supporting couples to learn and use the effective communication and relational tools needed for healthy, intimate, lifelong commitment.

As a Pastoral Care Specialist through the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) and integrating soulful caring into my coaching, I help women heal from religious trauma. I’m honored to pray for and with clients who desire that as part of our work together.

About Me

Maine is my favorite place in the world. I’m convinced there is no better place to be on a warm August afternoon. If I’m hiking and camping in Maine with my two black Labrador Retrievers and the people I love, even better. I own way too many houseplants and have a bird and butterfly garden. My very old, seven-pound black cat rules my house, especially my dogs. My grey-chinned Lab is the smartest girl and a therapy dog through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. My young girl dog is a loving goof who aspires to become a therapy dog. I love them dearly. I’ve held many important roles in my life from mom, preschool director, World Vision Child Ambassador and Volunteer Leader. I love cheering for my University of Virginia basketball team, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce. Go ‘Hoo’s!
