You don't know exactly what that looks like yet. You don't know how to be in the same room some days without everything unraveling.

Where do we go from here?

The truth is on the table. The hiding is over, and now you two are left standing in the rubble wondering…

If you’ve ever thought...

LET'S FIGURE OUT WHAT COMES NEXT

Not just intact → Transformed.

Right now it might feel like the relationship is defined by this. By the betrayal, the disclosure, the hard conversations, the sleepless nights.

I can't promise you that staying together is the right answer. That's not mine to decide. But I can help you figure out if it is, and if it is, what it actually takes to repair and heal this.

This can't be fixed. But it can be faced. And in facing it together, you have an opportunity to construct something entirely new. Not the marriage you had. Something more honest, more intentional, more real.

I have sat with couples in this exact moment. And I have watched them come out the other side.

Consciously constructed. By both of you. From the truth up.

Couples do make it through this. I have watched it happen again and again. What makes the difference is willingness, consistent hard work, and the right support.
BEGIN THE WORK

If you've already tried couples counseling and it didn't quite land, that makes complete sense. Healing after betrayal requires a very specific kind of support. One that addresses all three parts of the picture.

Hello, I’m Linda

Learn more about my approach

Betrayal Trauma Coach. Certified Disclosure Guide. 17 years walking couples through the hardest chapter of their lives.

The betrayed partner's healing is not dependent on what her partner chooses to do. Her nervous system needs to regulate. Her reality needs to be validated. Her grief needs to be witnessed. Her sense of self needs to be restored. This work belongs to her, and it has to happen regardless of the outcome of the relationship.

LEG ONE: YOUR HEALING

This is the framework I use with every couple I work with.

I often describe the work of healing a relationship after betrayal as a three-legged stool. Each leg represents a separate but equally essential part of the process.

If one leg is missing, the whole thing falls.

THE THREE-LEGGED STOOL.

Real recovery is not just stopping the behavior. It is understanding the full depth of the harm caused, developing genuine empathy, building a life of integrity, and becoming the kind of partner who is actually safe to be with. This leg requires its own support, its own timeline, and its own deep investment.

LEG TWO: HIS RECOVERY

This is where you come together and decide what the relationship actually needs to move forward. What does safety look like now? What agreements need to exist around accountability, communication, and rebuilding trust?

LEG THREE: YOUR RELATIONSHIP 2.0

I also work directly with betraying partners who are committed to their recovery and to repairing the harm they caused. If your partner is ready to do that work, I can help.

This is not the marriage you had. It is something new, built intentionally, together.

Not out of fear, or obligation, or because it felt easier than leaving. But because they did the work, told the truth, and built something neither of them expected was possible.

I consider it one of the great privileges of my life to witness a couple choose each other again.

That is Marriage or Relationship 2.0. And it is often more beautiful than what came before.

Together We Heal is a small, trauma-informed couples support group for couples doing the healing work after betrayal.

It's not therapy. It's a space where couples at similar stages come together, learn the brain science behind what's happening between them, gain tools, skills, connections, and find relief in knowing that other couples are walking this road — and making it.

Some of the most powerful moments in this group come from couples who are further along sharing their story.

The message that comes through every time: it gets better. And it is worth every hard moment to get there.

Current cohort dates are announced through my newsletter.

What is Together We Heal?

It depends on where each person is individually and what you both want. Sometimes in very early stages, individual stabilization often needs to happen first. We'll figure out the right timing together in your consultation.

How soon after discovery can we start couples coaching?

Is couples coaching still right for us? Yes. Couples coaching isn't only for couples who have already decided to stay. It's for couples who want to make that decision from a place of clarity rather than crisis.

We're not sure we want to stay together.

No. In fact, I strongly recommend that both partners have their own individual support alongside couples work. The three-legged stool only stands when each person is doing their own healing work too.

Is couples coaching a substitute for individual therapy?

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. All sessions are offered via Zoom and I work with couples internationally.
